Join us on Sept. 18 as we immerse ourselves in the critically important arena of: Access To Healthcare. We will cover Medicare basics (parts A, B, C & D); supplementing Medicare through Medigaps and retiree coverage; impact of employment on Medicare coverage; Covered CA, the ACA, and government programs to lower costs, such as Medi-Cal, Medicare Savings Programs and Low Income Subsidy.
Our expert presenter is Tatiana Fassieux of CA Health Advocates. Among Tatiana’s breadth of healthcare information and advocacy experience, she was program manager for CA Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program (HICAP) for 15 years, Board Chair for CA Health Advocates (CHA), testified before the US Senate Special Aging Committee on Medicare customer service; and with the Diversability Advocacy Network (DAN) she promoted expansion of Medi-cal to rural CA.
